My Nail Art Android Privacy Policy

1. Scope and current Android release

This policy applies to the My Nail Art Android application currently published by Jersey Publishers on Google Play. It covers the released app's nail-set editor, Photo-to-Palette, notes, Appointment Passport, local project and backup features, exports, printing, sharing, and voluntary support contact.

My Nail Art is an offline-first creative studio. Pictures, designs, colors, notes, preferences, and project files are processed and stored on the user's device unless the user deliberately saves, exports, prints, backs up, or shares them.

2. Data collection and sharing

The current Google Play Data safety disclosure states: No data shared with third parties and No data collected. My Nail Art does not require an account, registration, login, payment, or subscription, and Jersey Publishers does not operate a cloud library for Android app content.

The app contains no developer-operated advertising, behavioral-tracking, personalized-advertising, or analytics SDK. Jersey Publishers does not receive selected or captured photos, designs, palettes, notes, projects, or preferences. Content leaves the app only after a user chooses an export, Save to Photos, print, backup, or share action.

3. Photos and camera

When the user selects a photo, My Nail Art uses Android's system Photo Picker. Android provides the app only the items the user chooses; the app does not request broad access to browse the device's photo library.

Camera permission is requested only after the user chooses Take Photo. A captured photo is used for the requested local design workflow and remains an app-private working file unless the user separately chooses to save, export, print, back up, or share it. The app does not request microphone or location permission.

4. On-device processing and storage

Photo-to-Palette analyzes selected or captured image pixels on the device and can suggest up to five colors. No photo, palette, or design is sent to Jersey Publishers or to a remote model for this feature.

Local app data can include working photos and thumbnails; palettes; nail colors, shapes, lengths, finishes, layers, artwork placement, crop, rotation, and opacity; set names; notes; preferences; imported .mynailart projects; locally generated backups; and temporary share files. This information is used only to provide the user-requested local design, organization, preview, backup, restore, export, printing, saving, and sharing features.

5. Saving, export, printing, and sharing

Save to Photos, export, printing, backup, and sharing are user-initiated actions. Supported outputs can include PNG, SVG, .mynailart project files, backups, share images, stylist sheets, and Appointment Passports. Android's share sheet lets the user choose a recipient or destination; My Nail Art does not post content automatically or select recipients.

Once a user saves or sends a file to another person, app, printer, website, storage provider, or communication service, that destination handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. Jersey Publishers does not automatically receive a copy.

6. Retention and deletion

App-private working files and local app state remain on the device until the user deletes an item, clears the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalls the app. Android backup is disabled for the app. Jersey Publishers cannot retrieve, correct, delete, or restore content that exists only on a user's device.

Files deliberately saved to Photos, exported, printed, backed up, or shared must be deleted separately from each selected destination. Users should export projects they want to keep before clearing app data or uninstalling.

7. Security

Safeguards include user-initiated picker and camera flows, app-private working storage, Android backup disabled, encrypted web traffic, no broad photo-library access, no automatic gallery publishing, no account, no advertising SDK, no developer analytics SDK, and no automatic sharing. No system is completely secure; users should protect their devices and share only with intended recipients.

8. Website, Google Play, and voluntary support

Google Play and device services may process information under their own policies to provide their services. This is separate from My Nail Art's locally stored design content. Google Play may provide Jersey Publishers with aggregate store reporting such as installations, ratings, reviews, crashes, ANRs, device information, and Android Vitals; that reporting is not collected by an analytics SDK in the app.

The app does not automatically send support messages or diagnostic information. If a user voluntarily emails support, the sender may provide an email address, name, message, screenshot, project, or diagnostic details. Jersey Publishers may use that information to respond, investigate a problem, prevent abuse, comply with law, or establish and defend legal claims. This Android policy does not replace any separate website privacy notice that applies to information voluntarily submitted through the website.

9. Children's privacy and international users

My Nail Art is a general-audience creative planning tool and is not directed specifically to children under 13. It does not create user accounts or transmit local app content to Jersey Publishers. Parents and guardians should supervise a minor's photo selection, camera use, exports, sharing, and support email.

Local app content remains on the device unless the user chooses an external destination. Depending on applicable law, people may have rights regarding eligible personal information held in voluntary support communications; those rights do not extend to content that exists only on the user's device.

10. Changes and contact

Jersey Publishers may update this policy when features, permissions, information handling, legal obligations, or platform requirements change. The current version will be posted at this address with a new effective date when applicable.
